Back in the early days of GMX-shenanigans, I (Moix) was just experimenting with chiptune music and how to mod Gameboy stuff—that's why our logo is a gameboy guy: originating from the PowerPlant GBA release xx — until, I believe, Jacob hit me up regarding putting his ALEX GBA release on Gameboy Advance cartridges. At the same time, someone recommended I listen to this Midwest Emo project that was using the Mario 64 sound font. I had to check it out, and it easily became one of my favorite releases ever. I realized a few months later that this was Jacob's work—what a legend!
This right here is an official bootleg tape: "John Krasinski" means so much to us that we decided to kick off our eco-tapes run of cassettes with it. Using leftover paper and old, recycled cassettes, we are able to make releases much more affordable and sustainable while keeping the DIY spirit alive.
Each tape will be unique.
